LEGAL DISCLAIMER

The Executive Committee of Changing Flames reminds the public, partners and Ambassadors of Changing Flames the following:

Roles: Changing Flames Ambassadors are African Business Owners/Entrepreneurs, Youth Leaders, Professionals, college and university students living on the African continent, who promote awareness and understanding of businesses in their communities. Changing Flames Ambassadors help local businesses register with the agency regulating trade in the business’s country of origin (in case the business is not registered) and on Changing Flames’ website which allows allows Changing Flames to identify, train, market, and promote such businesses at the local, national, and regional levels in Africa, and within the United States. Every Changing Flames Ambassador position is essentially a volunteer position that lasts at least one year.

Representation: Ambassadors represent Changing Flames within their communities. The roles and duties of an Ambassador should not interfere with their personal interests. No Changing Flames Ambassador should have monopoly of access to Changing Flames executives or use access to Changing Flames executives as a way to impose their will on people. Hierarchy: Like in every organization, Changing Flames follows hierarchical structure. Our Ambassadorial Program, which includes Youth, Student, and Business Ambassadors is regulated as follows: All Youth and Student Ambassadors are under the leadership of Student Ambassador Governor (SAG) for Africa, Dr. Linus Akepe; and all Business Ambassadors are under the direction of Business Ambassador Governor for Africa (BAG), Ambassador Irène Chinje. The SAG and the BAG report directly to the Changing Flames Executive Committee.

  • Changing Flames Ambassadors desiring to organize a meeting for any other purpose than what is mentioned above will need a written consent from the Changing Flames Executive Committee.
  • Any institution, entity, government agency or organization which will accept to meet with a Changing Flames Ambassador over issues not pertaining to business registration, Food Safety Certification, or any of Changing Flames Ambassador roles listed above is doing it at their own expense.
  • No one is supposed to disburse any money to an Ambassador in order to get information or access to Changing Flames platform.
  • Changing Flames cannot and will not accept that people try and usurp authority and use Changing Flames to make financial requests or else to businesses or individuals in their communities.
  • • Changing Flames shall not be liable for any loss or damage of whatever nature (direct, indirect, consequential or other) which may result from Ambassadors’ interactions with businesses or individuals.
